Solar farm rejected
After a tense moment where the live stream dropped off... The Island of Cumbrae is celebrating. the planners recognised the detrimental impact the solar farm would have on the island's habitats, wildlife, views and tourism. They also noted that the application lacked information around key details.

The applicant said they may appeal, but for today this is success.
