Wanted! A young adult islander (under 30) who wants to make a long-term positive impact on Millport
We’re looking for an islander who is under 30 to run a project to plant fruit trees on Millport.
You will manage the set up of the project. This will involve finding funding, helping find a tree provider, working with experts to agree species and creating a layout. You will also connect with the community, create a marketing plan and make presentations.
Full support and training will be given. You just need to have a willingness to learn. We will pay £15 per hour to a total of 45 hours (£675). We are seeking funding for a further project to manage perceptions of the island.
